Caribbean Christmas Cake


A luxurious ground-fruit cake finished with rum and port. 

In line with Caribbean tradition, the fruit in this handmade cake is marinated in rum and port for a minimum of three weeks to create this dense and delicious festive treat.

The cake comes securely packaged in a kraft cardboard box tied with festive ribbon.

Serves 6.

Size: 6in/16cm.

Ingredients: currants, raisins, sultanas, mixed peel, prunes, cherries, brown sugar, wheat flour, baking powder, butter, eggs, rum, port, almond essence, vanilla essence.
