A large leather backpack, that is handmade in Ghana.
The backpack is made from leather that has been dyed using a tie-dye technique that is usually used with fabric. This gives it an interesting artisan look that is quite different from most leather backpacks.
The top of the bag is pulled together with a braided leather drawstring tie, that is then securely covered by a flap with a handstitched map of Africa. It also has three generous pockets on the front that are fastened using knotted leather button-and-loop closures.
Two strong leather straps allow you to carry the bag across your back comfortably.
The backpack is lined with a kente print that is traditional to the country.
